My Travel Bucket List

Today I wanted to talk to you about what is on my travel bucket list. This is not necessarily a list for this year (though I’m hoping to tick quite a few things off of this list this year), but rather things that I’m hoping I’ll get to do within the next three years. And who knows, maybe some opportunities to do a lot of these things will come up even sooner than I think. Fingers crossed! Let’s hop in.

VISIT EUROPE FOR THE FIRST TIME

Wow, I honestly can’t believe I’ve never been to Europe. Some days it feels like I have because how could I have not? But I seriously haven’t! And this is the year that that is finally happening. I’m actually going with my parents on a three week long Europe adventure. Our itinerary includes Amsterdam, Belgium, Venice, Florence, Rome, and Venafro. It’s going to be quite the adventure and I can’t wait to finally experience European culture for myself.

FINALLY VISIT HAWAII

Another one that I can’t believe I haven’t done yet. Not only is it such an easy trip to take from Los Angeles, but my best friend, Tara, is obsessed with Hawaii. So how we haven’t been there together yet is a mystery. However, that is all changing this year. In fact, it’s changing really soon. Tara and I have a plan for when we’ll be going to Hawaii together and it’s going to be seriously amazing. I couldn’t be more excited!

ROAD TRIP AROUND ICELAND

I’ve been dreaming about taking a road trip around Iceland for about three years now. I’ve seen tons of guides about how you can see the whole of Iceland during a 10-day road trip which would be seriously incredible. I’m not totally sure when this trip could or will happen, but I’m hoping it will happen sometime in the next year or two. If you’re looking for some ideas of how you can do this road trip, all the guides I’ve found are on Pinterest, so take a peek there!

SEE THE NORTHERN LIGHTS

This has got to be one of the most beautiful and special things you can see in your whole life and I’m dying to experience them. My plan is to find one of the hotels where your bed is in a giant clear dome, that way you can lay in bed at night and fall asleep looking up at them. I can only imagine how surreal that must be and it’s an experience that I’m just itching to have.

GO CLIFF JUMPING

Is this one seriously insane? I honestly don’t know if I’d have the guts to do this, but it’s something that I would absolutely love to do. I’ve obviously seen tons of photos and videos of people doing this and its probably beyond fun. I would definitely start small off of a super easy, fairly small cliff, but how awesome would it be to dive off of a tall cliff and into crystal clear water. Not sure when or where I’ll have the chance to do this, but I’m looking forward to it already.
