What I Wore to Coachella 2018!
/How I made it five years in LA without ever going to Coachella will forever be a mystery to me. I have to be honest, I just never had much interest, didn’t think it would be my cup of tea. But man was I wrong! Coachella turned out to be one of the most fun weekends I’ve ever had! Great music, great friends, and great fashion… so really everything I love most in the world.
But not only was I concerned with physical comfort, but also how comfortable I felt! I knew I would never have as much fun if I was feeling self-conscious in what I was wearing. I think there’s a lot of pressure to wear something crazy to Coachella, but I think it’s much more important to feel confident than trying to fit in with the crowd.
OKAY! Enough blabbing, let’s get to it!
day one
I love this outfit so much! It was practical and perfect for Coachella. I was so comfy running around all day and had the best time. We got to see so much amazing music this day, including my favorite show of the whole weekend: BLEACHERS! They’re one of my favorite bands and they put on one of the most fun shows that I saw all weekend. Plus, they’re from Jersey, just like me!
day two
This was outfit one of two for day two! Before heading to the festival we went over to the Pandora Indio Invasion pool party. It was a blast! There was awesome music and such cute photo ops. I wanted to wear something cute and colorful to compliment the fun vibe of this pool party.
Plus, it was pretty hot this day, so the airiness of this top really worked in my favor. ALSO! Does anyone recognize this nose ring? It’s actually the nose ring my character wore in F The Prom! They let me keep it and I decided to whip it out for this party!
day three
Our last day… boooo! I was so sad that this was our last day. And uh oh, we have a Lizzie McGuire in our midst because I am indeed an outfit repeater. Well… sort of. I’m actually wearing the same crop top with this outfit that I wore with my pants the night before. It’s one of my favorite tops and it’s so easy to pair with patterned pieces since it’s so simple. It just lets the other pieces of the outfit be the stars of the show. And, let’s be honest, this skirt deserves to be the star! I also layered a chunky necklace with my black bandana.
Coachella rocked my world you guys! I am so grateful that I went this year! We got to see so much amazing music. I got to hang out with friends, both new and old. And most importantly, I got to let lose and just have an overall incredible time. If you ever get the opporuntiy to go, I promise it’s not overrated. You will have the time of your life dancing the night away and singing your heart out!
