In our opinion there is nothing better to start your day off with than a smoothie. They’re filling, they’re good for you, and best of all, they taste amazing! So today we are super excited to share one of our favorite smoothie recipes with you today. Enjoy!
What You’ll Need…
- Mango Strawberry Frozen Mix
- Vanilla Almond Milk
- Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter
- HUM Raw Beauty Green Superfood Powder in Coconut & Pineapple
How To Make It
We always guess-timate when we make our smoothies, but we’ll do our best to give you some measurements that you can go off of!
You want to start by adding your frozen mangos and strawberries into your blender. We normally fill our blender about 1/3 of the way full. Then next you need to add about 2/3 of a cup of milk of your choice. We went with vanilla almond milk which will add a really sweet taste to your smoothie, but its totally up to you which you choose!
Next up we add 2 heaping tablespoons of vanilla greek yogurt. Ours is a generic brand and we buy the big tub because it’s the best if you’re up for making a lot of smoothies. In our opinion, greek yogurt is the creamiest and will make your smoothie taste the best. And you can never go wrong with anything vanilla flavored. The combo of the frozen fruit, yogurt, and the milk will make for the perfect base for your smoothie.
– Finishing Touches –
Now for our add ins! These are totally up to you and up to what sort of flavors you think will taste good with your smoothie. We decided on some powdered peanut butter. The brand we use is PB2. If you don’t know a lot about powdered peanut butter then do some research! It’s much healthier for you and even has 85% less fat from calories. So we add one tablespoon of that. Don’t go overboard with the peanut butter! It can super easily drown out the rest of the flavors if you add too much.
And lastly we add in half a scoop of the HUM superfood powder! This is their newest flavor which is a delicious coconut pineapple blend which will make your smoothie taste even more amazing while adding tons of nutritional value. Alone by adding that you’re getting ingredients that will help boost your energy and metabolism while helping you achieve more radiant skin. Score!
Now all that’s left to do is blend and top! We added a strawberry and mango on top for garnish and a straw to sip your new favorite smoothie recipe through.
BAM! You have your new breakfast! And you can make big batches of it and save it so that you have an easy, on the go breakfast every morning! We find this smoothie to be incredibly delicious and incredibly healthy. And If you’re not big on smoothies then I think this is a great starter smoothie to help you get into them. So make it and enjoy an amazing breakfast curtesy of us!
